Stopping stalking on this site

Has anybody else been harassed by users who create multiple accounts just to friend request you? Please, there has got to be some kind of way, like confirming IP address or e-mail confirmation, SOMETHING that prevents a person from creating a million accounts to spam you with friend requests. I get a new request every other day and she just will not stop. We need to implement some kind of filter here. I know I'm such a hot target that attracts all the ladies, but man, I can only take so much -_-

Eh, I just go along with it then remove them after. Can't do much about it since they'll just use a VPN/Proxy(Which they most likely are using).

I was skeptical at first when Arc first mentioned stalker-chan but after a while I have noticed it too. On these suspicious profiles people will add a bunch of cosplay, Japanese celebrity pics; spam add people to make their profile look legit; then for some reason I still cannot fathom, after a few people thank them for the add, the suspicious person will only comment on Arc's wall, no one else's. After looking at his profile tonight I found almost 10 profiles that were probably the same person and he said he had deleted more from before. Surely there is or should be some kind of protocol in place to handle these situations. He is an avid user and is on the forum daily.

Nope. I don't EVER do random adds. Why have over 100 people if you're only going to talk to a handful? I mean, who here has that many active "friends" on here? There's just a handful of actual active users(ive been here long enough to know... Longer than all on this thread, I guarantee that.)and the other's just lurk/ message everything they think has tits.

Yeah, been getting a few friend requests with people using other people's cosplays from DeviantArt and tumblr. It's nothing a quick reverse image search doesn't reveal though.
