Any Film/Series you would like to see become an anime?

The title says it all. Is there a series or a movie which you would like to see re-imagined as an anime series or film? For me I would say something like Harry Potter (a bit cheesy I know). But I imagine someone like Miyazaki re-working Harry Potter and it blows my mind! Or Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy by Satoshi Kon with Madhouse!!

I'd like to see Japan's anime version of The Crow movie/comic book series. I bet it'd be gritty as fuck.

"Hitchhiker guide to the galaxy" all the books, plus some original story and filler. You all know it would be awesome.

Some good ideas there! The Crow would be seriously dark! I have only seen Léon once, a long time ago, but remember it being good. And Hitchhiker's is a definite for me too. What studio would you want working on your series of choice?

That's a cool idea. I know there's an anime version of The Matrix, but haven't watched that yet. I think Star Wars would make an awesome anime...and not that horrible looking series they did in the 90's, I think.
