Has anyone ever got a girlfriend/boyfriend through this site?

Nah, though personally it doesn't bother me. It's one of those things that if it happens, then it happens. If it don't, well that's fine too. Some guys try way to hard to force things that shouldn't be forced.

sei rei: i see what you're saying, i kinda have the same idea in myself from too much romance anime x3 waiting for that girl who forces through the moody, mostly anti-social wall i put up to see the really soft hearted soul i try to protect from the world x3 so it makes sense they're doing the same thing. i just feel honesty upfront is the best policy on life ^^ so for me, im looking for long term, so im not exactly in a hurry to jump into a relationship with the first girl thats nice to me here, which could also be why i havent had much luck

Trying to force things is not at all a good course of action. At the same time if you show no interest...unless you hit some kind of lottery chances are ladies(especially of the nerdy variety) are not likely to see you as a romantic interest and do not often make the first move. Make your feelings known but don't be pushy about it.

Ive been in a relationship with someone i met on here. Didnt work out though. Its probably going to be hard work finding someone on here for sure, especially given the m/f ratio on here but that doesnt mean anyone should give up. Just remember that if youre a guy messaging a girl, dont get upset if she doesnt reply right away, no doubt she has a lot of other people messaging her too. Patience and low expectations win the battle

I'm still new here so not much has happened yet. Not that I'm complaining. It's pretty good hanging around here so far. As long as I'm getting some enjoyment, some friends and some laughs, I'm pretty good so far.
