Christmas

Hi guys! Since I haven't seen anything involving Christmas in the forums yet, well..... Anywho, what are your plans for Christmas? What are you asking for? What do you usually do around this time?

I plan on staying home on Christmas (working most days but that one in December) and probably watching anime and youtubers with my family. I have no expectations of a Christmas gift. XD But I do have plans to visit my little sisters, still need to figure out what I want to get them. The last few years I gave gifts to my grandparents and my sisters and my grandparents gave me a card. It's gotten pretty boring lately. ^^;;;;; I can't wait to hear everyones more exciting answers.

Will be staying in Germany with my family for German christmas and a couple of come togethers with friends but on the 28th I'll be off to Russia with my bf and my brother to spend New Year's and Russian christmas with my family there. Which means lots of alcohol, awkward family gatherings, opera/theatre/ballet visits (my dad has a fable for it.. and I'd be the last person to complain) and parties with my step-siblings and friends. Christmas is always stressful but I love it. The decorations, the rushed and cramped pre-christmas shopping tours, German christmas markets and the ice rink on Red Square.. Spending time with all the people I care about is exhilarating and the food is to die for. Not really asking for anything other than restocks on my favourite perfumes. I always run empty on those towards the end of the year and hate spending the regular $$$ on it myself. Never looks good on my bank account, lmao.

I'm planning to do a lot of things that won't probably be fulfilled because we have elections the next week and here at Venezuela, knowing the whole government is corrupted to the point is not even desguised for a bit, votes will probably suffer a fraud and people will go out (students mostly) protesting aaand getting themselves killed or sent to jail again because of the lack of expression people can have here. So classes at my university could get postponed and I would have to see class on Christmas. Of course if this scenario happens. So I wouldn't be able to go to my dad's place or see my old friends, solve my passport and greencard problems, celebrate Christmas with my family neither decorate my house. But I really hope nothing of this happen and that I can have my calm and nice dinner with my family and enjoy my Christmas vacations.

I'll probably be going through my internship training then so in the down time I just plan on spending time with family and friends and review school stuff for next semester. I'm determined to not repeat this semester and having my whole pass/fail prospectives be based around my final grade. >:D Also fallout. Desperately need to catch up on all the games I haven't been able to play

All of my plans are for before Christmas because i work on both Christmas eve and Christmas. Me and my friends are doing secret santa. We're gonna get together and have a bit of a party while opening up some gifts. Should be a good time.

Ideally I'd like to buy myself some junk to play around with, get my mom something she might like, chill out at home, and maybe get in an xmas movie. If past years are anything to go by I'll might get a call from the old man wanting to have dinner, probably at his place. Where at he'd probably write me a check for a hundred bucks as he does for my birthday and Christmas every year. If not he'll just mail a check instead and say marry xmas from Hawaii or wherever the hell he is, which he's done a few times before.
