What's money mean to you?

im with verucassault money is just a materialisation of your intelligence and your sweat.it just the easy way to trade thing. imagine trying to buy a car with cattle it be hard maybe that person doesnt want it. so if youre intelligent you will make money easy.

The materialisation of one's intelligence sounds shallow ( I mean literally lacking depth not in the other aspect used to describe someone's lack of empathy etc.) and basic. If someone is born into a family with money, he/she is better off and he/she can be a lazy idiot and still have money and earn his/her own money just because they are well connected. I know many intelligent people who work hard to get by when they could be using their gifts for remedying an actual evil.

@Verucassault Yes, I agree with the hapless monkey thing. It's just obnoxious that people act like they care about famine and disease for the sake of looking benevolent at the dinner table, but don't even think about alternatives. Like I said, I'd like to kill this topic because it only reminds me of the futility of imagination.

Money is money, it pays my rent, pays for my Finances, buys me clothes and helps me get what I want.. I have a Good job and well money is money

It doesn't ensure happiness but it doesn't hurt either. How much money you need or don't need depends completely on the priorities you set. Capitalism depends on people making money their priority though.. and most do.

A means to get what I want and a way to provide for myself (food, water, shelter). Other than that, it's pretty meaningless to me. It'd be rather cool paying up with Rubies rather than dollar bills.

Money is necessary only to survive. Just that. But yeah i hate money. Can I dream with a world without money? That is wonderfull. :D
