In 2009, I made an account there. Then Facebook happened, and everyone thinks it's dead.
They're partially right.
I have 0 human friends to speak with there, but that's not a problem. The only ones who go around adding accounts anymore are left-behinds from other countries who have apparently just found out about it, or pedophiles.
But I go back to it for the app Tag Me.
It's still very popular.
Not a lot of otakus on there, though, and too many bisexual girls who are probably pedos themselves. :P
But it's fun. ^_^
Anyway, enough about my back story.
Would YOU ever go back to Myspace? Why or why not?

I don't think I can, there's to much going on at myspace. I loved the customization but it sort of went over the top and each page I went to friend or not blasted music and everything was EVERYWHERE! heh

Never would go back. It was nice and all back when I made videos since they had those special pages for artists, but even so, with Facebook, YouTube and so many other social networks dominating the world now, it's hard to keep up with them all. MySpace's biggest problem (mentioned by Kyetge! already) is the "friends" a.k.a. bots (or as one of my former co-workers called them, "camwhores", since they usually resembled skanky women on webcams desperate for attention). Overall, MySpace is dead to me.

^ haha.
@Ryder: That's what I loved about it. the smorgasbord of customization. I learned HTML because of websites like Myspace.

Haha the old days when myspace was the thing, and changing your profiles song for the week was a big deal, but I doubt I would ever go back even tho I still have an existing account. The top friends was a horrible idea. I hated how if you even moved a friend from it they took offense to it, and if you didn't have a friend on it they took offense to it. You just couldn't win with that system.
I will however agree to what ryder said as well, and it did have a good customization.

I liked it originally for the music player thingy they had. I used to put up a lot of stuff I did on guitar there. But I go where the people are, and a social website without social interaction is kinda ... asinine?

@Kyetge Pretty much what you had to do to really customize your homepage.

I just don't use sites like that except when people I know convince me to make an account, which I end up rarely using anyway. [outdated information mode]I use Freewebs![/outdated] [sarcasm]*que suave!*[/sarcasm] I don't intend to ever go back to Facebook or MySpace, but mostly out of apathy. I hear the cracked Chinese Facebook (the one that's all kinds of illegal over there) is pretty much an updated version of what our Facebook was a year or two ago, but since I'm barely familiar with Mandarin (nowhere near enough to speak it, let alone type in it) and unfamiliar with the other common dialects, and only one of my IRL friends lives anywhere near China, it's really not worth even checking out.
