So I was walking through the mall and I walked to a couple stores ex. Hot topic Spencer's and a random smoke shop anyways what I saw was pretty shocking In hot topic they were playing anime opening music and game music. At Spencer's their were Halloween related items that were somewhat anime themed. At the random smoke shop i passed by they were showing naruto dub and phycological pass;0 on their tv . What does this mean I don't know

It means that anime is more main stream than you think. We are no longer some out of the social norm special niche.

Anime is a curio reserved for Halloween and a gift shop where they sell adult toys.

1. Anime merchandise probably sells more than band shit at hot topic these days. 2. They sell like sonic wallets at spencers 3. many stoners watch anime

I love hot topic ( mainly their shirts) but other wise I wouldn't shop their love their clothing brand

Now when Target opens up an anime section or GITS airs on ABC... anime has gone mainstream. It'd be like being in the Twilight Zone.
