Okay, I have finally accomplished Veru's dare for me to watch Magic Mike XXL. The following is my review for the movie: In the first 5 minutes of the movie I saw the True Blood dude completely butt naked at the pool party and I asked myself, is this what I will have to go through the entire movie? Thankfully that was the only full on male nudity in the whole movie. I was hoping that there was going to be some fan service for the guys unfortunate enough to be dragged into the movie, but there was no fan service of that sort. The movie was not bad enough that I could make fun of it, so I was mostly bored though the movie. It seemed like it took forever for them to reach the convention, and the only way to get there was through a forest of strip-dancing banana hammocks. There was nothing for me in this movie. I felt like I had walked in on a funeral that I wasn't invited to and forced to stay during the entire service. Towards the end, I just wanted to pee. When it was over, I was hit with the thought that I expected to have before I started watching the movie, "Wow, there goes two hours of my life". But still, I bet every guy who went into the theater on opening night with their girlfriend got some action later that night. For me though, there was no such reward. Only the blank feeling that you get after eating a plain ham sandwich. Meh.
