Hey guys. I'm developing an app which is a visual novel style game. You make critical choices that influences how this girl acts around you and others. It's going to be animated and everything ^_^

I still have a ways to go before I can start animating her. All possible facial expressions, poses, etc. Also, I have to draw her chainsaw XP

Thanks sunflower ^_^
I suck at drawing guys. I dread it >_<
I actually dread drawing other characters, period. Right now I just want to focus on giving her as much expressions and movement possibilities I can. Hopefully I can get faster at this. It takes hella long to draw.
I considered just drawing the chainsaw before the upload, but it mounts vertically on her back, so you would barely see it XD

Thanks for offering ^_^
However, it's a really complicated process. I have about 50 or so layers on the image you see. They all have to be on the right layer so that blinking and moving her head all works as intended.

Why don't you just animate with the puppet pin tool in Adobe After Effects? It's much easier than actually drawing a layer for each individual movement.
One of my good friends animated this within a month for a chorus battle, and she uses AE:

THOSE HEADPHONES. THOSE HEEEEADPHONES!!! OH GOD WHY DID I ALREADY BUY A NEW PAIR?!? T_T
Okay, my next frivolous expenditure, definitely is going to be those headphones. Thanks so much for sharing the link!
I considered AE because it would be a lot easier, but in the end I want to make suptle facial expressions and movements that would require drawing meshes for the different layers. It's so fluid and sexy when you view it on the tablet.
This is what I hope my finished character will look like once it's on the tablet:

Oh yah, the animation is similar to Barcode Kanojo (same company?).
To be perfectly honest and blunt though, I think you should work on your artwork before exerting yourself to an app game. You're trying to learn how to run before you learn how to walk.

Thanks for the advice, cielle ^_^
I'm taking it really slow to stay at a pace I can withstand without burning out. The art you see above at least meets my minimum standards for art, so if I can just keep producing that quality art I should be find. It's the programming and animating parts that I know will be hard >_<
