You shouldn't have to do anything to prevent it but putting up a pic of you and your husband together as your profile pic might help.

I've had this problem since I joined. They normally just get mad an delete me or scream on my wall. It doesnt really bother me though I dont know these people very well so if they delete their self then good riddance.

I heard of people who just friended others and expect a message or a conversation. There are people who gets impatiences but cant control it. When i joined This site sure I check my MO often but but when i message someone new or start a convo, I dont Scream At Other people when they dont message back. I know they have important things to cover before we check our messages.

Some people just respond better to images rather than words. I bet half of them overlook the "taken" part of your profile.

Yeah most of the girls I talk to here say they have had similar issues at times not just here which is sadly becoming the norm.
