I'm just gonna copy/paste the "About Me" that I had to generate when making this account. ^.^
Hi, my name is Alex! I'm a Third Class Petty Officer in the United States Navy and obviously since I'm here, anime is one of my biggest passions and finding someone who I can share that experience with would be absolutely amazing. I'm current stationed in Washington state and I should be down in San Diego, CA around March 2013. I'm okay with a long distance relationship since I'm in the Navy, but being geographically convenient would be nice. My "stats" (lol) Age: 22 Height: 5'11" Weight: 220lbs Race: Filipino Languages: English / Japanese / Tagalog (in order of proficiency) Occupation: United States Navy

Greetings Alex and welcome to the site. Hope you enjoy your time here. I was also in the Navy, was on the East Coast, well that and Scotland. I was on submarines.
Have fun

What's the Navy like? I was considering joining, but thought better of it because I don't really know whether I can handle all the discipline and stuff.

With the Navy, the most discipline you'll ever see is in the first 2 months (boot camp). After that, you'll just have to exercise the stuff you'd do anywhere else. That discipline involves showing up on time for work, making sure your uniform is on point, staying healthy, and being able to do the right thing even when no one is looking. As far as what the Navy is like, there is just so much to say about it. Its like a roller coaster in the sense that you'll experience some of the highest highs and lowest lows in your life with the pace constantly changing, and see some of the most amazing things in the world that many people that stay in the states are oblivious to.
