I feel like I can't write anymore!

Sup gais. This isn't a complaint or anything like that. I'm just so confused about how to get back into writing like I so prolifically did when I was in middle school. I was full of ideas - not only that, but I was able to turn them into actual stories with beginnings, middles, and ends. Somehow I've lost that book. Maybe my dad threw it out. I don't know. But nowadays it seems that I've become a terribly trite author. I write poems, but I feel like they suck. I put down stories, but they come out with a more journalistic sense. It's frustrating. I have held a dream of mass distributing my own worlds, ideas, and characters to the general public, but the more I read, the less original I seem. :( Wat do? (besides stop reading classical works.)

Mmmm well you could try to remember how you used to write, if you cant find the book, then do what they say, "try again as many times as need it" It is your writing, in my opinion you just gotta get the feeling you had, what did you felt when writing, what were your thoughts, just try it, sorry I dont have a good solution.

It's okay. I've got it kind of figured out now. I just had a small crisis. The schools I've gone to have really killed the spirit of creativity in me. now I just write to get things done, and get them across, not necessarily to be creative. I hate that.

I've... put stuff up on the internet if you're interested in seeing samples of how I write. I used to be really proud of it. Now anymore.

Yeah. Um. I have some stuff up on Fanfiction from when I was WAY younger xD. Under the same name. Kyetge. And then I have stuff up on Figment.com, also under the same name. The fanfiction is... fanfiction. I think they're not bad in and of themselves, but I just can never finish a damn story! >:O

Oh, I know that feeling too. But definitely not as often as with my writing. :P I'm a much better storyteller through art than through words. Usually I have to mix them to satisfy my vision.
