Autism. :/

You already know what this topic is about. So, Let's get straight to the point. :3 I notice people mistake autism as people with "mental" disability or ADHD. it is actually a "learning" disability. It means that your brain works in a different way than others. ^u^ (It doesn't mean you're stupid or retarded. ~.~ ) Autism just mean you're brain function/process info fast or slow. (=^w^=) I know this well, because I had autism, since I was three years old. So, yeah. :3

I've known pretty nice (and normal) people with autism. It's really not that bad, with the exception of some uncommon extreme cases.

@neet-one: True, but some can over come that. They just need extra special needs training programs. I had training and programs when I was in elementary school through high school and I turn out fine. I got a high school diploma and now I'm working my way to college. ^w^

My stepsister has autism and now she has a nursing degree. She put twice as much work into it because people said she couldn't do it. Nobody should think of autism as a mental disability. Some autistic people create brilliant things.

^ See, that's so true and you're step sister is a great example about autism. We aren't weak or stupid. We're just the same as other people. :D
