Los Angeles

Hey Im new to the site, im new to the city too. I just moved to Gardena from bakersfield. Im hoping to find some friends i can relate to here :). Is anyone in the Los Angeles area interested?

OMG hi! :D Gardena's only a few cities over from mine. And I've got family up in Bakersfield. :P I know both places rather well, but the general Los Angeles is where I'm at more, obviously. How are you liking it?

i like it alot :), our house is nice and im near a park with a duck pond and the beach, its so beautiful, and my neighbors are sweet. What city are you in?

I'm in Huntington Park. It's a quiet little place that's part of the Southeast Cities Coalition. The councilmen are corrupt all over the place in these little places, though. :P

Haha! We totally should. Are you thinking of attending the upcoming Anime Expo? It's SUPER close by to our cities. Another thing that makes it possible for me to even think about hanging out with you is that you're a girl, not a guy. If it's a girl my parents have never ever seen before, they'll be cool with it. But if it's a guy, then they're bringing out their rifles! >.< You seem like a cool person. Don't forget to take advantage of the proximity of Little Tokyo to your place. Little Tokyo... is awesome. :o

Yea im planning to go :}, and my mom feels the same way its like they see a boy and their minds run wild lol. I like little Tokyo too. I love going there and trying new snacks and finger food :).

Oh yes! >.< I'm going on Day 1, hopefully dressed as Korra, with my cousin, who'll be Bolin... if we can make our costumes in three weeks. We both have finals... but my mom will be helping me next week and his finished today. :D it would be cool to see you there. Somewhere. ._.

Well ill have to go the first day then lol. My aunt is a major star trek fan and she goes to this big convention every year and she said she gave up dressing up because people who think they are experts would criticize her costumes so im still kinda iffy about dressing up but also i want to see if any characters ive never seen before look anything like me so ive been looking all over the internet lol.

Hey, those elitists are jokes. :D And if anyone starts criticizing my cosplay, I'll warn them that they're asking for an ass-beating. Even if con security has to show me out, they'll come away with a black eye or interred gonads. I say don't worry about that stuff. Yeah, I know what you mean. I tried doing that, but then I realized that there are so many anime shows that have characters who look like me if I just straighten my hair or wear certain things. I recommend doing a fantasy anime, like Ah! My Goddess, because there is always one beautiful darker-skinned character that not everyone can pull off. Or you can genderbend someone to cosplay! Whatever you decide, you should watch a bit of the anime it's from. :P
