Nice guys finish last

@darkxangel ~ That's not always the case, assholes can mask their presence to get what they want and can succeed very well at it. Nice guys do finish last quite a bit because they are shy and reserved, and girls (not all) like a guy to make the first move. Which in turn means they lose their chance with someone, which then opens a spot for the ninja-asshole-in-a-nice-persons-skin to come in. Get the girl, and then move one (I've seen it happen quite a bit because girls are pretty superficial now-a-days)(but not all).

Fascinating. I know this thread is a bit old, but it was revived recently I guess... I read all 7 pages... These are the conclusions I can draw... The original poster is a guy who makes Eugene from Hey Arnold seem like a lottery winner. I mean that sounds unlucky to be in so many relationships and in all cases get cheated on, and then not find anyone. So much for "its better to have loved and lost than never been loved at all. I am 24 years of age and never have found love, but I can't even imagine the pain of losing love seven times... what happens to one's trust? Self-esteem? Confidence. Yes he is a "nice guy." But honestly this is an issue which may plague girls as well. Girls may get cheated on multiple times. Girls may feel that their natural self seems to be a boy or girl repellent... But I digress. Back to the original poster Girku... The guy shared his feelings in a thread under the topic relationship advice. Advice means, to aid someone, due to knowledge or experience you have in a particular subject matter. Not make judgements on the person's character and persona. Poor guy is likely scarred from posting or asking help in the future because of all the harsh words and trolling by the sadist here. Even if there may be some truth, delivery is key, tone is key... Some people would consider this tough love. Others consider it abuse. Some people respond well to a drill sergeant, others need positive enforcement to learn. The moment he said he reheated making the thread and begged for it to be closed should be a sign... But... I do not wish to belabor the point, I have gone on far too long with this soliloquy. To Girku... Ganbare yo! You may feel like you are alone, but you are not. Others like you exist. And as long as you still feel pain, you can feel joy. So keep striving for that one who will appreciate you!
