Nice guys finish last

@Riolis Now we've arrived at the defenition of 'nice guy'. What if I say that I'm a nice guy, but I don't fit most of the 'nice guy' traits. I just help girls and act like a total gentleman towards them all, whether I like them or not. Every feelings of possessiveness or clinginess I contain, because I know that's not what girls want. I think your post is very true, but for me the first part is not the definition of nice guy, the second one is

Guys who come around with the "nice-guys-finish-last-"-crap usually are the type of "nice" guy that is described in that pic though, Sanfi.

@Xynox No argument there xD I think this has alredy been said, but the only way the statement of this thread is true is possible that guys let girls literally finish first ^^

@Sanfi Then you are just a normal guy. Its ok to be a normal guy and be nice to other people, we called that compassion. Only "nice guys" called themselves "nice guys" because for them being nice is all about expecting something for their niceness. (and when they dont get it they complain, because they didn't do it out of the kindness of their heart, etc etc) People who like to label themselves for the good things they do are usually the ones who don't do shit for the sake of doing it, doing it because they want something out of it. You know, labeling oneself as philanthropist and all that. So 2nd part of that image, is a real guy. Not a label. Just a normal real guy. 'tis good enough no?

I despise the "woe is me, I'm so nice, why aren't girls flocking to me" attitude some guys have. Sadly for them, nice guys really aren't that special. You're not going to get a girl by simply being boringly polite and uninteresting. I mean, I'm as fucking nice as a bunny rabbit laying on a fluffy pillow, but that doesn't entitle me to getting a girlfriend/getting laid. You have to have other things going for you. Interests, desires, goals, etc. Also, I think it's much better to speak your mind rather than just being super agreeable about everything. I've seen so many guys just tell girls what they wanna hear, like a complete and utter tool. Not having a backbone and being needy are also major turnoffs I think. My thoughts on the issue anyway.
