Nope nope nope, I separate fantasy from reality entirely.
I love yandere men in anime/games from the bottom of my heart (like Adachi), but fuck no, I would never let a guy like that touch me irl.

You nailed it lol. I'm a big fan of yanderes, Yuno being one of my all-time favorites, but I wouldn't ever want that kind of life or death drama irl.

While the anime/manga stereotypes appease me (particularly Tsunderes), I don't really intermingle these things with reality due to how complex people and personalities are.

Yep, no, maybe. Well real people can't be drawings.
So logically I can't answer this question. Because it sounds like nonsense.
Unlogically, I'm single, so my real life crushes are anime characters. Hahahaha awwww I made my self sad and happy. >.<

The only preference I have is kind of weird, they have to like anime/ and or video games, that's literally it for me, I'm as easy as a Christmas tree

in some regards i do kind of like sone anime/realism crossover in a relationship.
Don't care if you look like an anime person, but i do like to try and interject some anime-like personality into my life with the effect of reducing drama and encouraging more light-hearted fun

i know anime in real life doesn't look good most of the time.
but about this subject i do look for certain qualities in a girl based on my wafiu, but mostly personality wise, don't really mind what she looks like as long as we connect you know.

While I watch the harem animes for comedy, I have noticed something ... 1. Like Cecil said, they are average characters. 2. There is a booty buffet all laid out for them. 3. And probably the most frustrating about those characters, they can't just choose ONE and run with it...
The parallelisms to reality are pretty astute. no longer are we limited to a general radius to find someone for dating or relationships. There is a literal chance to meet every single (available) fish out there. So we cast our nets far and wide with all the hopes and aspirations of finding that almost perfect catch. The problem is that I think we forgot to give a little. We forget that we aren't going to find someone perfect, or for us at MO -anime ideal. Pretty soon all of the decent folk out there that actually have something worth passing down to humanity will still be casting their nets out while the breeders who make like rabbits because Netflix didn't have any good movie options are taking over the planet. Welcome to Idiocracy.
