Act of love.

Well of course that would mean going out of your way to show them out much they mean to you. Whatever it might be I think it should be something personal that wouldn't be something you could do for just anyone, Like maybe something hand made that clearly took you a lot of time to make or set up, and something you know they alone would enjoy. Should also be something creative and unexpected. Not the sort of thing people do every day. The kind of act that would just scream "I adore you." without question.

I've never been to jail. That's romantic, right?

I once delivered coffee to a young woman I would never see again after she was waiting at the Port Authority after our 24 hour bus trip from Florida. She appreciated it. I prefer to call it an act of kindness. As for an act of love... well, being a decent person and making a lifelong commitment is the only thing that counts. Everything else is incidental.

I have no idea what modern romance is like now a days. I may have been born in the 90s but I'm just too old fashioned these days.

Anything that has the intention of making your significant other happy could be potentially "romantic" in my eyes. Now I like coffee, so if my boyfriend got me coffee in the morning I'd really appreciate the fact he went out of his way to do something that would make me happy. That's my take on it at least.

I'm too anxious and cautious. I'm just thinking that she is going to use me for getting that stuff. I learned that the hard way more than a couple times. It only works well if both people do it.

That whole coffee thing is pretty crazy. But the view on romance has changes from how it used to be. Not by much but their have been suttle changes here and there such as your coffee lady sitting at the next table. She seemed to have really enjoyed your whole giving up a free coffee as an act of love, which is amusing. For me it would be dinner and taking her out someplace unforgettable.
