Lets talk about DEATH PARADE yay

I have wanted to talk to someone about this show since the first episode. I was deeply impressed with this anime show and I would recommend to those that haven't seen it to drop everything and watch the first three right now! .......I'll wait......... I don't think any of the following contains spoilers. The breadth of this show impresses many aspects of the, usually extreme, ups and downs of human nature. And it manages to do so within a unique and interesting setting. If it has to be labeled something you could call it a death-game anime. Even that isn't an accurate description for the show. Blasting through the show in a marathon can be quite the emotional rollercoaster so be prepared for some feels. I found that the show manages to do so many things right that I was compelled to continue. The focus is on different characters in an episode by episode basis with the overarching plot of the main characters evolving quietly towards the ending. But by no means is this a show that leaves you frustrated with fluff episodes only dreaming about plot. The heart of this show is about the side characters. Their stories deeply affect the main characters. Not the other way around. The many different episode plots fit nicely into their universe without giving feeling of being stuck in a formula. The classic sci-fi themes found in the main plot are presented in such a way that actually adds and expands to the many layers of this show. If you like stylish and thought provoking anime shows this one just might be for you. I got excited so I ended up just writing a review. Tell me what you think! Even if you didn't like it.

I know right! Art where??? I also love the style in the show. Clavis' hair was similar to my own so I was inspired to make a little change.

And that's awesome! I loved Mayu and Ginti, unfortunately I got into the series when the episode where Mayu was just introduced had just aired.

At least it is a show that isn't super hard to jump into. I was surprised with Mayu's arc in how well they brought one of the side characters into the main group. Clavis is one of two characters that I could ever see myself cosplay as.

I've been planing a Mayu cosplay myself, though I still need to get over how damn angry I was when Ginti sent her to the void, she did nothing wrong damn it and didn't deserve it! and I think you'd make a good Clavis, so good luck!

Yeah especially since she starts off as a character "you love to hate" but when the giant onion that is death parade starts peeling away layers you get to see her as a deep character in her own right. And what starts out as the qualities that make you hate her becomes the very reason you love her. All of the exquisite layering going on in the show has brought me to consider it a quiet masterpiece. I think I'm gonna start an episode up now. Would I be right in assuming that you have already finished the show?

Holy crap I was not prepared for a moe Oculus girl in a swimsuit. That cracked me up good. I haven't finished looking but I like what I've seen so far. I got a bit of an art nouveaux feel with the style and colors. Especially with the thicker outlines.

Hokay i see there are a few done in the straight up art nouveaux style. And i also noticed that the composition is identical for many. If i had to guess i would say that those are like fashion design pieces. What was the reasoning if you don't mind me asking.
