And some people just deserve it, pedophiles, serial killers, rapists, sickos like that just don't deserve a chance in life, even in prison.

@bruschettebites Fellow prisoners get creative with those people. Generally serial killers are disposed of when the other inmates get a chance, like what happened to Jeffrey Dahmer. Rapists are generally the playthings of the prison gangs/cliques. Those who are convicted of being inappropriate with a child, their punishments by the other inmates are the worst of them. Most common in a local prison is the other inmates will take a broomstick or anything that is shaped like a pole that is wood and will snap it off after it has been inserted where the sun don't shine. Smashes the prostate, leaving the offender sterile and in a severe amount of pain. However that is only the initiation. From there on in at any point the other inmates could deliver death on the offender. More often they like to keep the offender around as a punching bag and for... entertainment. The CO's look the other way, only rule that the CO's have is that you don't kill him since that is paperwork that the CO doesn't feel like filing. This however doesn't stop the wildcards of the prison from getting rid of the offenders though. However one of the most interesting dynamics are those of cop killers. It varies wildly from state to state. However in the local prison cop killers are generally seen as bottom of the barrel. Not quite down there with the serial killers, but they are not respected and if they have a beef with another prisoner, he usually won't have any backup. While nobody will search them out, they are considered outcasts and most inmates want nothing to do with them. I'm not sure why, perhaps it is because the inmates consider the cops the means but not the reason as to why they were caught and ended up in prison and are just regular guys who have a job to do.
