Your response to shopping with others

trahecreations
Okay, the stereotype is girls like to shop and will tell you all the right stuff about what you are trying on, and guy will look at you like you have 3 heads and tell you that you look nice in anything. I want to know what your response to shopping with others is. example: People assume since I am a girl I am a shop-holic where whenever someone goes "How do I look?" I say "Human?" and tend to get slapped. Apparently they wanted me to say alien I guess.

I am a large shopper more so than any woman I've met. But I've cut back. I enjoy shopping with others usually

i like shopping with my two friends, they're usually the best at helping me feel 100% certain with my decisions. we all know each others tastes too so we literally walk into a store, pick up an item and be like "wow denise so and so would love this!" and then make her try it on. makes the entire experience really fun, especially since were the kind of people who don't rush when shopping and only go on low-peak days. then we have a tendency of buying a huge mall-food item and splitting it between us and sitting around for a few hours updating each other on our lifes haha. i look forward to it too because we always dress up real cute.

I just buy everything online and never leave my house.

How did you get your food then?
donnierye
Grocery stores around here deliver.

Not a shopper in the conventional sense. I'm a buyer. The objective is clear and the ingress and egress routes have been planned. That's not to say I don't take advantage of an opportunity to eliminate the occasional pop up target, but I tend to stay pretty focused. Also I'll do my homework before buying something. But I don't try to figure out what I'm going to buy as I go to buy it.

I don't mind "shopping" in the traditional sense although I kind of hate going out when I have no money to really buy or do anything fun.

I don't really like shopping; I'm broke and it's obnoxious watching rich people buy $150 jeans to compensate for their self-esteem. That being said, the only thing I go shopping for is food and little knick-knacks, books, and things that can potentially become hobbies. Back when I had friends irl I enjoyed accompanying girls getting dresses and what have you; Rompers & sundresses galore lmao. Girls clothing is significantly more diverse than us men O.O
