I hate shopping unless I have control. Sure I will spend an hour doing it, but for the most part that is mainly looking for food or looking for something in my size that is the right item and realizing that humanity has failed me. Last time I shopped for clothes I was trying to replace my light and breezey shorts which after 10 years somehow got a hole the size of my hand in them. The fabric was shredding away. So I went to look for new shorts to find there were no light weight breezy, not tight could be mistaken for a skirt shorts to be found. so disappointing. Instead the materials were all heavy. Who wants heavy stuff during the summer? Last time I went shopping with someone for clothes they regretted it. They took me shopping to find thongs for them. I called them eyepatches and proceeded to mock them. Even going so far as to ask if one was scratch and sniff. (I so let people know I am uncomfortable by mocking) If that wasn't bad enough considering I had no money and we were walking for hours as she wanted to pick out a new wardrobe too. She finally got me to sit down in a store, hold her purse while she tried on like the whole store and kept asking me if she looked hot. My response is "I think the AC is on, cause I am freezing." I don't know why she wanted me to compliment her. In fact she did it so much I said "You look human, you are fine as you are. Clothes won't change how I look at you unless it is poking me in they eye or something! Why bother taking me shopping?" she hasn't taken me since.

Haha lol im sorry but the eyepatch thing got me XD scratch and sniff i can see why lmao....i dont know if you get it though she was asking for your opinion of how it looks cause if you think it looks good maybe a guy would too. clothes do matter actually it sort of tells like your lifestyle who you are, your personality, etc.

I am queen of the hand-me downs. I can never find something that speak to me about me that is the right fabric, length, style, feel. So hand-me downs normally. That and everything I like is so god damn expensive. Uht, yeah I am a riot to shop with. I will insult many things. I have actually in protest to get my friends to stop thong shopping have put a thong on my head and said "Look I am pirate!" And I have mocked other things like the skinny high heel. My friend was high heel shopping and was trying to find a shoe with the skinniest heel. the sales lady asked us what we were looking for and I stood up and said "we want a shoe that is not remotely shaped to the human foot and will cause back, knee, and ankle problems. It has to be a sandal style, easy to remove so we can stab that 4 in skinny pointy heel into a groping arse's eye. Oh it should be gold and a size 9." The sales lady laughed, my friend however wouldn't stop slapping me until the sale's lady came back with the shoes that my friend was looking for, which was pretty quickly. As you can tell, I hate pointy shoes, heels, and thongs. I do not always misbehave, but due to my behavior in stores that clothes consist of barely anything that should be called clothes my friends tell me to behave everywhere. Seriously if they didn't want me to mock something they shouldn't force me to be around or part of something that I dislike. Now if we were shopping for cosplay items, Or books, or art supplies, Or any craft supplies or anything of the like that. I would be fine. I really only act horrible when I am near skimpy and impossible clothes. Unless I really want something I will not buy it. I paid 300 dollars for the clothes in my closet and I got about 300 pieces of clothes in my closet. (dang, why do I got so much?)

Is that really all they buy? Thongs :/ i mean the really nice stuff is expensive like why its a piece of cloth yet i have to pay like $100 cause its what looks right on me (im fairly thin so not alot looks right on me)

^ lmaoo "I'm a pirate!" Now, if I did that I'd be tackled by security O.O And that's the drag about shopping with certain women; I once went with my ex to Victorias Secret and she does the same thing; "Do I look nice?" "You like these?" What do you want from me, woman?! I don't wear those things, I'm hardly qualified to judge. @Panda, I agree that clothes are somewhat of an extension to one's personality, and you can tell a lot about someone's attire, but I think the distinction between excess and wanting to express yourself has become blurred and usually people go shopping for clothes on a whim. I was talking to my Navy recruiter the other day about Jordans and how people fight in line to get new pairs when they have perfectly good shoes on their feet, already Jordans. It makes no sense to me. Also, it just seems that people who want to "express themselves" through what they adorn just adds to the beauty over brains complex that's so perverse here in the states, and other places, to be sure. Still, clothes is still a creative medium of expression, it's just, like with so many other things, there's not much balance.

No, they buy other stuff, but for the most part the parts I act out are for that super girly or super skimpy stuff like Thongs. And they aren't expensive apparently. They go to bargain bin Thongs. $1 a thong. They ask me to help them find some nice ones which is why I have my hands on thongs. There are times when we shop and they try something on and I say "Yes that is nice if you want to flash me your boobs, you do realize that is see through right?" Or "Oh you got a mole there? I never noticed, it sticks out when you wear white" Also I hate the color white. It may look nice, but white gets dirty so easily I hate it clothing wise. It also reminds me of hospitals so I avoid white paint too.

I agree super skimpy stuff is little much like are you ok with looking like your half naked while patrolling a super market. So i agree with you there . But i mean if i were to go out shopping with a girl for some reason and they asked me to comment on what they were wearing i guess i would be ok with it honestly

I don’t like shopping clothes at all and I have better things to do with my time. That’s why I only go out to buy fashion when I need something. And when I do, I think about what I need first and then where I’m going to get what I need because I want to be done with the shopping as quickly as possible. When I am out shopping with others it depends pretty much on the person. In case they have the same mentality about it I have, it’s no bother and alright. If they don’t have and actually love to shop clothes, it might be hell for me and after a certain point I only say:”If you like it, buy it already. It’ll be alright. Let’s go now .” to everything they show to me just to get out of that stores. Sometimes being out shopping with someone can be torture. The only shops I really like to visit and I can spend a large amount of time in are the comic book store, the book shop and electronic stores. Those are awesome =3
