underused themes

I want an anime where a hero has to defeat a enemy and trains all his life for it and still gets his ass whooped.There's no special power ups, or friendship bullcrap, just boom end of world or world domination. The anime should also switch between perspectives of different civilians to show the affects of the downfall of the hero,and the rise of an evil regime or empire.

Where the protagonist is beaten every single time yeah i want that lmao cause its like no matter what your still weak XD there is no point you dont just unlock some special power that makes you op
