@panda zankyou no terror definitely had the potential to be a pretty good anime, but i guess because of the lack of episodes it definitely felt cut short, rushed, etc. felt like it was missing something too, which kind of sucks cuse another anime like death note would be awesome

How bout we all create 1 of a piece that everybody likes 1 thing I wanna see like a theme set in modern time and based on 4 protagonist and they time travel and each episode is either a continue of their adventure or a complete nobody like a mini scooby doo and it can have ecchi, adventure, action horror, comedy , Mecha, inch too cool I'd be willing to work with anybody to make this anime come manga / anime come true I love writing plot and stories yaaaas!!!!

If there's one thing I despise, it's the "moe girls eating cake" genre that seems entirely too prevalent. And it always has an art style that looks like K-On, I swear. I get that slice-of-life has it's place, but it's just really been too much for awhile now. I'm also getting tired of the "not-Sword-Art-Online" genre of shows that are based in MMOs or at least exist in an MMO-like world. What are underused themes? Well, despite hating the MMO genre of anime I actually really want to see more fantasy. And I mean the completely insane fantasy that gave us classics like Slayers and Sorcerer Hunters. I don't even remember if those shows had an overarching plot, the sense of adventure and having no idea what they would encounter next was what made them so much fun. That and the screwball slapstick humor, I could definitely go for more of that nowadays. Actually, now that I think about it, a lot of my favorite old shows had the characters moving around a lot on a continuous journey, encountering something new and interesting every episode. Stuff like the aforementioned Slayers and Sorcerer Hunters, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Digimon, Fullmetal Alchemist, etc. I feel like the fact that so many shows are focused on high school has forced the story to be centered on one location, and it makes the story feel small. We are also shockingly deprived of good Mecha these days. Even Gundam started going in weird directions and completely lost me. What we need is more off-the-rails super robot shows.

i could use about 100 more shows like Joujon Romantica. I would like to see the level of steam in those with girl and guy couples but I'll take yaoi as well. Maybe more artistic things. The blood/ink splatters in Samurai Girls/Bride was so subtle but it was eye candy. The way it was drawn too with heavy outlines was nice. I wouldn't mind more anime with some morbid and psychological aspects like people were saying DeathNote. Psycho-Pass was almost on that level. Ahh the Wallflower!! There we go. HILARIOUS. I would like to see more main female characters obsessed with horror and macobre.

I would LOVE to see more animes set in completely different countries - somewhere barely covered in anime like Germany, Russia, Canada, Scotland, South Africa or anywhere really. I like the Japan setting and it makes sense but seeing it all the time in anime, manga, visual novels and even games from Japan becomes really tiresome most of the time, so I think it's about time we start seeing new real-world locations. I would also love to see anime studios tackle anime series or films based on games - I mean the epic 1998 old school FPS SiN got its own film and I thought it was awesome, Blade and Soul was pretty cool and Devil May Cry got its own anime and while DMC was a disappointment I still really enjoyed it. There's a lot of games with huge expansive worlds that are ripe for expanding upon in anime form and there's a LOT of games I would love to see become anime-ized. Things like Metal Gear, Mass Effect, BlazBlue, Doom, Silent Hill; the list just keeps going on and on but of course that's an issue in its own right due to licensing and what-not.

Oh and more crazy and weird anachronism would be cool too.
