Tips and tricks

So I'm out of school for the rest of my life which means at some point in the near future I'll get to go to my first con. I was just looking for general good ideas about preparing. Hotel booking, how much money to bring, stuff to keep an eye out for etc. Haven't really planned out which con to go to, I was thinking otacon but really it'll probably be whatever is close and I can afford. Any way, helpful advice from con vets welcomed and appreciated.

Are you cosplaying? Do you have a character already picked out? Now that im out of school too i was thinking of going to a con aswell

Nah I hadn't planned on doing any cosplaying. Just wanted to go see what they're like, get ac feel for them, see what sort of swag there is to buy

I'm a mess at every con and I've been going to them for like 10 years so I won't give you advice haha. But I suggest looking on YouTube for how to survive conventions or tips etc. There's plenty of stuff there.
