Well, as a Genderqueer--or as you might think it, transgender person--I don't think a third bathroom is a bad thing. A unisex bathroom is a wonderful idea because it eliminates the stares that I might get for going into the lady's room--which is the one I would rather be in. In some states I could even go to jail for it :/ But that's because of discrimination and ignorance. Given a more ideal setting where people were ACTUALLY FUCKING EDUCATED on the topic, I'd prefer the two bathroom system to go entirely, and the sit to pee and stand to pee system Maverick mentioned come into play. But that's also unreasonable as of right now, as this would require mass renovations of country-wide restrooms. In short, my opinion is that as of right now we should be able to use whichever restroom makes us more comfortable. The comfort of the cisgendered men and women can be used to try to refute this idea. But seriously, fuck you if you really think that.We have to realize that there are other people with feelings and the total seclusion of one group is never proper or forward thinking. Once we understand this, I feel like we'll be one step closer to being more decent to each other, and more open-minded as individuals.

I don't see a problem with transgenders using the bathrooms they're comfortable in. On the issue of rape/harassment, no rapist/harasser is going to stop just because the icon on the restroom plaque is not a gender they identify with, so really I don't see how one has anything to do with the other. As to the corrupting children bit, I have yet to been in a ladies restroom where I can even make out type of shoes of a stall occupant, much less which direction they're facing, without having to belly crawl on the ground.

@Sakuma You say if we understand you then we'll be more open-minded but in the same paragraph say fuck the cisgendered men and women who are uncomfortable... I can't take you seriously. In one hand, you get mad if we seclude you, but then we get mad if we include you but not in the fashion that you like. You sound like a whiney child that can't have both his cake & eat it. There are unisex bathrooms in America. They're usage is made for 1 person at a time. If that's not enough then I dunno what to tell you. On the flip side, I understand how annoying it is to have to get equal rights. I mean, it's only been a couple decades since it was not only Male and female, but Black and white... err, Sorry, I mean White and Colored bathrooms. USA is slow on the mental progress. Again, DEAL.

If you have a male's genitals you use males, If you have females you use females. Simple as that. Look I don't mind if a guy wants to act like a girl, Dress up, have a wig, use make up, Whatever it's not my business, Same vice versa with a girl wanting to act like a guy, But we have different restrooms for a reason.
