Anime Withdrawals

When I started college I didn't have money to buy new anime, there weren't any streaming services like Crunchyroll, and the internet in general didn't have hardly any sources. You don't know how many times I rewatched Dragonball & Sailormoon, but back in those days we had a little something called a video store. And since it was a college town, they had lots of series I hadn't seen before. Sadly all the new media outlets have forced that store to close down. Good times, good times.

When I was moving to and from Florida (we drove so it took like 5 days) we had no internet and we only ever had WiFi at hotels and even then it was always late when we checked in so I never got to watch any. So for like 5 days + the time it took to get settled in and get internet I had no anime. Wasn't that bad TBH, I just played Monster Hunter and Pokemon on my 3DS all day :^)

I'm old enough to remember, Nytmare. It gives me nightmares, thinking about hearing that wailing dial-up tone. I remember when I got high-speed internet when I was 16, it blew my mind.

I usually take 1 week off to: 1)save my phone data, and 2)make myself do other things... like listen to anime music and read manga. XD
