Tall guys or short guys?

I perfer a guy taller than me, but not to tall. I'm really short, so I would like to be able to look up at at a guy comfortably. Since I'm 4' 11' I think the perfect height for me would be 5' 4". Is that short for a guy? I don't really know.

Wouldn't almost every normal guy be taller then you @jineko. Any less you like dating a little person. Then you be a giant. lol

I like tall guys, but I wouldn't mind if the guy is considered short as long as he's taller than me xD I'm 4'10 though ಠ_ಠ

I always wondered about this so much I found this thread. I'm only 158cm so it's not hard to be taller than me. That being said I actually don't like taller partner. I much prefer someone around the same height as me because when people who are much taller hug me, they tend to squich my nose. >'( I also like the idea of being able to actually put my head on their shoulder comfortably. The idea that taller=protection is so weird to me also. I have a lot of irl experience with fighting and battle, and can honestly say your height doesn't factor into your strength or ability to protect more than technique and intelligence. So it's kinda silly. Also, as a girl, you should 1,000% be able to beat opponents bigger than yourself. Because the fight we will need to win most will likely not be anyone to protect you but yourself. Sadly.

I'm 172cm, which must be considered short where I live. Everyone I see are towering giants in comparison. Now... I'm no fighter, but it's not because I'm short. Hell, I can pack a hell of a punch, but I don't know how to fight. Not that I'd want to. I'd rather pull strings from the shadows to get my way. It's always worked for me. So, I don't get the taller = protection thing. Hell, I don't even get why you'd physically fight when you can emotionally torture them instead...
