How old or young do you go when looking for a relationship?

Might be a bit on the controversial side, but what is your personal (not sociological) datable range? I want to make this clear, this is not a thread to belittle or make somebody feel bad if you don't agree with them, so please be respectful and remember different people have different preferences and different regions have different laws (if it comes to that point.)

Honestly I think in most cases age is a worthless variable to dwell on. I don't think about it that much myself. That's not to say you should think about it. Stay out of trouble with those minors. What I'm trying to say is if you are breaking up with somebody because they are like... 5 years older than you that's really dumb. Love somebody for who they are, not how old they are. Don't let the age variable get in the way.

I'm 29, usually I'll go 24~ unless we seem to have a lot in common, so around 20, highest 35 But, I agree also, age is just a number. Be with someone who makes you happy, as long as it's legal. Or you don't get caught. ...just kidding on that last part.

Guess I'd have to say 20-28. Even 20 seems like it might be a tad weird for me. The ideal is around my own age, if not a bit younger.

I'd say 19-25ish. Basically someone same age as me or older.

Well, my girlfriend is seven years younger than me and I'm thirty one. Mid twenties is my cut off, but really it depends on maturity. You don't realize how immature you are, even in your early twenties...

I don't care about age as long as it's legal and we are around the same maturity level. I mean, lower than 35 obviously.

Usually I go older, but apparently I will also go a lot younger ¬ ¬ I guess that makes the youngest 18 and the oldest...maybe late thirties?
