There was this one year some girl caught me by the hand and dragged me to a couple panels with her. It was fun and silly at first. Then she found some of her friends and started hanging out with them and I felt like a fifth wheel so I went on my way.

Yes, I have been hit on by a cute girl at an anime con. She straight up commented that she liked how my butt looked in the jeans I was wearing. It was so unexpected and flattering and I panicked, and ended up talking about a time where I ripped my old pants trying to pick up my cat. Total foot in mouth moment. I just walked away because I knew I had failed miserably and embarrassed myself, haha.

I wish I would get hit on :( Then again I have not gone to many anime conventions just started too last year. I feel sorry for the girls who have been hit on because sometimes there are extreme male perverts out there.

@ animeclass101 That reminds me of this one con, there was a character auction and people in cosplay were being bid on for lunch and an afternoon with that cosplayer. This one guy, he must have spent like 50$ or so on Yoko from Gurren Lagann. I seen them later having food and the conversation felt so awkward. I don't remember the exact words but it was something like, "Anyone waiting for you back home?"

I get hit on sometimes. Also lots of attempts at trying to pick me up in a variety of asian languages, that's one that happens more exclusively at cons. That and back when they had those shirts that said "I'm looking for a Japanese girlfriend" everywhere. They'll like point at it and make gestures. I hate it but it's especially bothering when guys get super aggressive about it. Which is why I work back stage :D

@lolo-chan Lol, that last sentence. It's so funny reading it and imagining your slightly bored avatar saying it like it was no big deal.

Haven't been to a con yet (prepared for the hate), but I can imagine it getting bad for some of the women. Although I'm not an anti-social, so I'd probably hit on maybe one or two casually. I can read a situation pretty easily, lol.

I've only had it once that I re-call, but I usually stay around friends, and it could be UK cons are just smaller/lighter than American ones.
