Then imagine their friend comes over and tells you to leave them alone and decides to cut off the water supply to your house for good measure. you tell him to fuck off and cut off his power supply in turn. so then he rapes your wife and kids, chops them up into bits and sprinkles them over the lawn, burns down your house then does the same thing to your friends. I would say no, I think they would have turned out pretty much the same...though maybe they focus more on technology because of it, I don't know.
