Hi Im new here and Im fairly new to anime. Can you give me some anime to watch?

hi and welcome. A good rule of thumb for people new to anime is to watch some of the ghibli movies. my neighbor totoro, spirited away, castle in the sky, etc.

Depends on the categories you like. I suggest some movies like neet-one posted to start off. Then come back so we can have you watch some water-work shows. Lol

When you get into the tv show's Clannad is a romance & drama. Yes I cried.. Make sure to make a myanimelist(dot)net profile. It helps you track and discover new shows. Most popular one too.

Hi there, welcome to MO. I'm a huge fan of romance anime myself. My first recommendation if you're looking for one that combines both comedy and romance is Lovely Complex. Really good, one of my personal favorites. Others I recommend are Nana, Kimi ni Todoke and Sukitte ii na yo; Kimi ni Todoke being my favorite anime ever.
