Welcome to the site. As for anime, believe many of the good starters were already mentioned. You could also add Toradora, Amagami, and perhaps Kaichou was maid-sama to the list as good rom/comes.

Lucky for you I've recently been on a huge romance/comedy bender lol. As Talonvoren said Amagami SS and it's sequel Amagami SS +, and Kaichou wa Maid-sama are excellent at bringing both the romance and anime, although I believe Kaichou wa maid-sama is really worth reading considering you lose so much story in the show. Other than that some of my recent favorites are The Fruit of Grisaia, Oreimo (broxsis), my teen romanctic comedy snafu, Mashiro Symphony (loved it), Oreshura, Love Election and Chocolate, Nakaimo: My little sister is among them, and if you don't mind a little action in your romance/comedy then try Chaika the coffin princess and Lord Marksman and the Vanadis

Welcome to the site. For romance and comedy anime I have a few reccomendations. Anohana and Itsuka no tenma kuro usagi (probably made a grammar mistake there). Those are probably two of my favourites

You can try chuuunibyou I just finished the first season and watching the 2nd season currently. This is romance and comedy but no harem so don't mistake it. Read Suki desu Suzuki-kun. I highly recommend this.
