In the US there are an approximated 20,000+ laws and most people know only a handful. you're hard pressed not to break some sort of law eventually without even realizing it, and some are so moronic that they're not worth following. For example in Los Angeles County CA, you may only throw a frisbee at the beach with the lifeguard’s permission, there's also a law in this state that says Women may not drive in a house coat. In Blythe CA, You are not permitted to wear cowboy boots unless you already own at least two cows. The list goes on...
Who really cares if opening people's mailboxs is a federal offense? Just don't do it when a mailman might see. who's gonna complain about receiving free money anyway?

If you decide to give out the money, i think it would be ideal if you left a note of motivation to go along with it. It's up to you what to write, but i feel like if it was truthful, positive and uplifting, it can go further than just buying them some food or objects. It could give a person in need the strength to not give up the search for a better life, and that note, not just the money, will be something they will look back on.
I hope that doesn't sound absurd and you can get some ideas from this ^^ Goodluck!

Well some people are paranoid and would think receiving that money might be a set up. You'd be surprised on how paranoid some people are.

Besides A mail man wouldnt have to see you do it. Just the person who lives there can see it and not like it and some get pissed. Goes back to me saying It's a federal offense. ITs common sense that most people know that. Especially had been living in America for a while/ your whole life.

"Money is the root of all evil."
But in this world, it is a necessity, however, economy can easily destroy its value.
If you do get a large sum of money, say like $1,000,000 for example, I would try to invest that to gain more, then using a fraction to help others. Such as charities that help other countries.
Although it can be hard to separate fake from actual charities, but better to try than to do nothing, but not everyone can get a lucky break, all we can do is survive on what we get, the best you can do is just help however you can, doesn't have to be money, you can learn how to grow vegetables, or fish, only your own mind is your limitation, and what you do with it is your own decision.

I just had to correct something.... It's not money is the root of allevil, its the love of money is tge root of all evil...And that's how the bible verse goes. In other words, greed and selfishness are the problems. You can be wealthy and serve others rather than your own desires. People get jealous of those with money and want to demonise them rather than do good to better those around themselves with what they have. Even a poor man can have a rich soul.

Hmm, I actually didn't know where it came from, just heard it once, so my bad, didn't know how it went, also there is something similar that Einstein said, but I forgot what it was, something about capitalism... Evil... *Sigh* I'd say my true weakness is memory... The long years of regaining my power back has impaired my memory recall.
On topic: Yes, not everyone that becomes rich is tainted, Warren Buffet donates much of his money to charities, that's why he's 2nd richest at the moment, or so I'm told.
But money can easily change a person, in more ways than one, but being otaku normally give immunity to greed... Or at least in the norm it should...
