What would you pay for anime series?

Around 15 to 20, nothing over 30 bucks. Also I like complete box sets. If im payjng thst much for a 2 episode ova then I just skip it. Anime classics s.a.v.e. is a good series of dvd box sets for a cheap price and they have alot or my favorites.

Im generally not one to buy "special edition" packs for series, so I try to keep my spending of series down to a minimum. Usually between $35 to $55, although the chapter the better. I usually make sure to buy online though where I can find better deals or pack deals

personally I prefer to wait until a series has been completed the buy the box set for like 50$. I do this especially with funimation series cause they have the habit of not completing series, which needless to say pisses me off to no end. Example D. Grayman

So K-ON is like $50 and up on every site I look for season 2 vol 1 and 2 each. Season 1 can't find the blue ray cheap anymore only The regular DvD. Anyway, Finally found season 2 for $17.99 vol 1 and 2 each, brand new. Goodluck.

Most I ever spent on a 26ep anime on dvd was $50. That was however back when I didn't have an internet connection and was much younger/dumber. I can't see ever really doing that again. These days the only way I could see buying anime dvds is if they're dirt cheap. Like a few years ago best buy was selling them at 50% off and I picked up a few box sets for like $20 each. Still, dvd quality is ass and it's only good for collection sake, which makes them really low priority to me. Besides, I rather not support these licensers and instead buy the stuff direct, but the prices on the original dvd/bd are insane. Even at half the price they'd be too much for me.
