What would you pay for anime series?

Posted it in the question. I was raised to shop right to save money and not wasted it. Most of the anime I got were great deals, yet some were not. I was waiting for the prices to drop for like years. :/ I will tell you, anime prices were more likely to rise. It's like an investment to buy "One Series" UN-open plastic rapped or no plastic rapped. My prices: are 12 ep series under $5-$20, yet anime has to be great, then 24 ep are $20-30, angain depends the series. Now I purchase a great series "Orphen" for $28, with 47 eps. So What your say?

I try to buy the save editions, but depends if it's a good anime I shop on right stuff and they have good deals sometimes. Aniplex is where the money is at though I was looking into buying nisekoi and it's $50.00 for 5 ep. 5 pin ups and a poster I was like Wtf lol. I'll buy it though my fav anime by far it'll probly end up being $200.00 just for the whole collection. Xd

Yea, I see you got a good price there, yet still think I would not pay that. XD Though, that's your taste. ;) Also there is a site for the anime for $14.95. http://www.shopanimedvd.com/product_info.php?products_id=781423 . All 20 eps. I go to like 6 site or more to compare prices. XD

I once paid $85 for an Outlaw Star DVD box set. Came with the unaired hot springs episode. But a few tears later when I tried to get money for it all I got was $10. So no, it's not really worth it when digital copies are so much better. Amazon only charges like $3 per episode or movie and that's still too much.

I buy a lot of no name anime for cheap and get exposed to lotsa series I'd never usually get exposed to. The last dvd I picked up for like 10$ on Amazon was Fight, One Shot! Charger Girls! The last series I threw a lot of money at was the dvd release of Madoka which was like 30$ per four episode disc. Sometimes I'll add to my Amazon wishlist when I'm bored, just clicking on series I liked in hopes of seeing them get a price drop, which they never do. I'm looking at you, Panty & Stocking

^ I feel your pain man everything is going up in price and thier lowering ep lol I mean 4 or 5 ep for 30-50$ has to be a joke :(

I'm... really frugal. I will buy the edition from another country because my computer's DVD player is region free. I usually go under $30 but can't give you an exact amount.

So I bought the series "Ikki Tousen" all 4 seasons plus ovas and specials adds up to approximately $120.00, separately bought though, on DvD. Yet, I found out that the Blu Ray Box set each cost more than +$220, depending where you purchase. That only one season, wtf. Would You go out and spend that muck on a series like that for that much? :O Thats crazy.

Not more than $40 for a blu-ray set with 26 episodes at least. I usually wait for the prices to go down before purchasing any anime.
