Nutshell: Last year during June-August or something. -Met wide/thicc/attractive female from a dating site. -Generic dating scene. Going to a cafe, chatting, then walking about. -Hormonal interference occurs. I did not want to be horny. Why is my body so? -They behave as if nothing is off. Concern manifests. -Sit at bus stop. Generic chatter - corrupted by hormonal interference. Silence. -They leave with a happy wave which was no doubt synthesized. -They ghost me. Understandable; the balances are inverted (10,000 men to 1 female) on dating sites as females are being spammed and they can always find someone who is easier to manipulate or whatever-they-prefer. -The end. Moral: -Hormones do not know how to communicate, just how to drive the sexual thoughts into your face like truck-kun to isekai-verified persons. -Do not date during a pandemic. -Do not trust dating sites; the reality is often so disappointing that you'll think you've wasted your time. Hypocrisy: I am here. I am not usually a hypocrite and would prefer if I wasn't. Alas, I cling to hope. It burns. Reason: This isn't exactly a dating site. If it were then people would be asking for my IRL face. Addendum: Insufficient experience and lack of social anything beyond gaming and rambling about fiction or making up fanfic on the spot regarding how I'd prefer a given story to pan out. Result: So lonely that a Yandere could probably walk in without needing the stereotypical armaments, and offer a lap-pillow, and I wouldn't interrogate them regarding them being in the house... I met up with a woman I'd a crush on after we both graduated high school. She was about 2 years older than I and I was just starting college. We reconnected via MySpace, back when Facebook still had competition. I drove out to pick her up for a date to the amusement park. Her house was in an area I wasn't familiar driving and so got off on the wrong exit which happened to be an automated toll road. Embarrassingly, I didn't have change and was stuck with a line of cars behind me honking their horns. Nervously I turned to her and asked if she had change. Her reply, "I should have asked my boyfriend for some before he left this morning to go to work. Why not ask the people behind us to lend you money?" I paused for a moment to let what she said sink in before I shamefully slid out of my PT Cruiser and awkwardly asked if anyone could break a $100 bill for a 75¢ toll.
