What Are Your Most Frustrating Video Game Memories?

Losing all my stars in Mario Party due to dumb circumstances. Fighting against OP characters in any game. Trying to play scary games or games with jumpscares like FNAF and throwing my laptop behind me.

Tearing up my Nintendo Gamecube paddle and hands trying to build up moves and power attacks on Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2. It was either fail the power-up attempt or blister my hands and tear the fragile foam c stick from my paddle, oh well.

As a kid I did not realize that Super Metroid had a running button and was stuck in Brinstar for ever inable to proceed. Years later, I bought the game again [for $60], and passed the entire game. Not only did I feel stupid, but got the satisfaction of beating the game for the actual first time.Frustrating but rewarding

Today I decided to carry out an assault on the oil rig in Palworld along with @verucassault . She warned me that lazers shot at her when she got near but I told her it would be fine. I'm a man, after all. Such trivialities don't concern me. I have a shotgun and a vendetta. We flew in for an arial assault with me leading the vanguard. I dodged lasers left and right and made it to the steps. I ran up the steps, shotgun blasting, calling for help. I could see @vercassault flying behind me, lasers shooting all around her. She would be fine, I told myself. Enemy after enemy started to pour in. I realized that the people manning the lasers were not afraid to blast away at their own oil rig, and I was having to roll dodge lasers as I fought enemies 5 levels higher than me with maxed out gear. I was surviving. But then I had to reload. All 12 bullets. In that time I heard my precious wife @verucassault shout "FUCK". I only looked for a moment when I saw 15 lasers penetrate her at the same time, lighting her up like a Christmas tree. I went down, only getting my 8 bullet loaded into my shotgun before eating dirt. Now let me tell you, once you eat shit on top of a highly defended oil rig, that gear isn't easy to retrieve. Time after time, death after death we launched failed assaults, each time dropping a new bag of gear. At this moment @verucassault berated me for assaulting that cursed, dammed oil rig and quitted out of the game. Only after many attempts did I manage to retrieve both our gear myself using my extreme sweaty gamer skills. That place is hell. Pure hell on earth.

Yes but the fact that you retrieved our items made this less worse than falling off the edge of the world in Valheim. -_- That one still aggrevates.
