What Are Your Most Frustrating Video Game Memories?

Tomb Raider (the original ones)... Walking up to an edge to get ready to do a really tricky jump, only to accidentally fall off to her death over and over and over again. Especially after they swapped the jump and roll buttons on the controller in the next release. I can't tell you how many times I swan dived her off a ledge just out of frustration.

@Arc I can totally sympathize with losing your gear in places like that. I have memories of running back to my body time and time again, only to die just after retrieving my gear, if I made it at all. I apparently blocked out my memories of that game, because I can't remember the name of it all. DayZ was awful about that. You'd spend sooooo much time getting gear. Then you'd get killed, and respawn on the opposite side of the dang map. It'd take half an hour just to get across the map, only to find half your gear ruined, if it was still there at .
