Hi my name's Justin. I'm 31 years old and stand at 5'9" Brown hair and eyes. Currently I hold two jobs, one part time in a local bookstore and the other in a hospital on contract. My dream job would be voice over artist or an entertainer as it fits my outgoing personality. But for now i want a job with better stability pr. obably in a hospital setting. As for personality, very outgoing with great sense of humor. To me as long as people can laughter then no matter how bad their life may be at that moment they can press on. I can be quite adventurous and don't fear going out of my comfort zone. I love cuddling and I don't mind being affectionate to people. For my taste in music I listen to NPR on my way to work, but drive home and weekends can be whatever strikes my fancy. For fun I love going to the movies and seeing stand up comedy shows. In short dating me will be filled with love and laughter mor than anything. What I'm looking for is someone I can be myself around and values me. I value smarts over looks and that doesn't always mean a formal degree. Also I don't like people who don't share what they genuinely think. We don't have to agree on an issue but don't lie about your view on an issue just to keep me happy. Astrology wise I am a certified Leo. I'm Steve, 26, KS, 145lbs 5'7. Brown hair and eyes. Baby face, I know. Currently working full time as a pharmacy tech and going back to college for drafting and maybe more. I love learning and enjoy being back in that environment. I'd take a classroom over online actually. Always been a fan of architecture, level design, maps, and art along those lines. Hobbies: The usual for a place like this, videogames are #1 and then anime. I do not let age determine quality, so I am a big fan of both old and new games and the same applies to anime. Old OVA's and movies can be breathtaking to look at and imagine how they were crafted. Nowadays I eat healthy and enjoy trying my hand at cooking. I prefer the sun thesedays and try to get out a little if I can, but also like to stay in. Green is my favorite color because it's lively and adventurous. I'm not really the documentary guy haha, but I do love things about ancient history (Egyptian stuff especially). Always been a fan of board games and stuff, Thunderstone is cool. Videogames: Favorite systems are the SNES and PSX. From there I'd say the NES, Genesis, and PS2 all kind of clash. I'm always playing both old and new. Right now I'm digging the PS3 and Wii U (yeah, the Wii U is legit!)... all time favorite games would be Zelda Link to the Past and Super Metroid. Big fan of JRPG's and anything sci-fi. Movies: Always been a fan of sci-fi, so I would say some of my favorites are Blade Runner, Star Wars OT, Jurassic Park, Alien, etc. Big fan of comedies too. Music: I like a lot of metal, from Judas Priest to Iron Maiden to some modern stuff like Killswitch or something. In general I like a lot of rock too. I'm cool with 90's hip hop. But I spend a lot of time listening to soundtracks from videogames or movies/anime. Beyond that it gets weird with some stuff like jazz fusion or new age. I like a lot of music, but it can be a bit out there haha. TV: I'm putting this here because it's the one weird thing (compared to the mainstream/norm)... I just straight up don't really watch American TV, ever haha. So it's almost purely anime, live action dramas, and such for me. That said I do keep up with some shows if my friends get a group going, so I'm not against it. I'd just rather watch my own stuff when I'm alone. Fun facts: I beat Megaman 10 without getting hit. Beat Devil May Cry 3 on Dante Must Die. heh What I'm looking for: Location, I'm not really against anything at this point in life. I'll let life take me where it wants. Physically, basically I've just always liked short slender women (since jr high, so forever). If you know anything about a Libra... let's just say I fit the bill a bit. "Balance" is a major thing for me. I like to go out and like to stay in. I have many hobbies and interests and am always up for trying something new out. I can be routine with simple things. I don't drink often but when I do I have fun. If that's good so far, let's just say loyalty and honesty are the big ones for me. Assurance is huge and something I admittedly enjoy, whether it's in words, affection, or gifts, my appreciation for it goes a long way. I'd definitely want someone that can take care of themselves physically, hygiene and health wise, as I do. Someone who loves life in general and is optimistic. Optimism makes me a better person and is something I enjoy being around. We're here to have fun! Intelligence can be an easy turn on, but also remember to keep your head on the level, haha. About me: I'm not very good at describing myself. I like to do a lot of things, but mostly I just like to be lazy and play on the net all day. I am working on my third degree; this time a Bachelor's in Dietetics. My goal is eventually a Master's degree so I can help those who are obese to lose weight, since I know myself how hard it is. I am very quiet and lonesome, sometimes people think I am impassive, but I just don't get excited very easily. I still have not found my absolute passion in life yet. I'm not very good at making new friends; most of my current friends are friends of friends that I have had since I was a wee kid. I am particularly interested in anime and manga. I do know of a lot of games, but since I'm someone that budgets very seriously I don't buy new systems or games until my old ones break down or I get an awesome deal on it. I curse like a little kid (dang, heck, etc., never saying the real terms), I only drink when the party is for that and even then I don't drink much because I hate the feeling of being tipsy, and I don't do any sort of drugs or smoke cigarettes. I do have asthma, but I just don't have interest in it. I do like to keep my stuff fairly clean, except dishes, which I hate doing. I also like to cook and am very proficient at doing so (one of my two current degrees is in culinary management). I love to cosplay and I'm looking for someone who is willing to geek out over making cosplays with me as well as being cool with just hanging out. In high school people said that I was quite naive, which was true at the time, and still is a bit. I am quite trusting of others and will usually give someone the benefit of the doubt, plus often you have to be upfront about what you want rather than true to get me to understand what you're trying to get to. I have a twin brother that is my identical twin (he is older and larger), and he is my best friend and it would please me if that would be true for my entire life. We even plan to move out together once I finish my degree. TL;DR I'm a serious person who's also very chill, but I don't curse or smoke (drink occasionally, but hardly any when I do). Does anyone even get replies on here? Umm my initial draw to this site was because of my complete lack of friends that are into otaku culture. So I would be happy to just make friends. I wish that the posts in this form were separated by state/where you live. It would make looking for a date a lot easier XP but I guess that is what the search feature is for (even with all it's faults)

@Be_Mindful Yeah it seems to me that this site is a bit clumsy as a functioning dating site. But it still has its uses. Though I must be internet-ignorant with forums at least. I haven't found a working search... anything so far. Is that something that is premium only?
