A way to help the forums.

Hello all maiotaku users I am here to ask a rather direct question and I do want your opinion it will help. Also I did post this under serious topics because I feel it will get more attention here rather then site suggestions. Tell me what you think of the forums and what can be done to improve them. This includes technical issues with using them and more importantly right now what users can do to help make socializing on the forums better. Is it too random or too serious you tell me and please do not be afraid to criticize on here as long as it is not directed at any specific user rather the problem itself. Thank you and I hope to hear what you feel.

If only we could think of a "non annoying" way to message many Maiotaku users about maybe trying the forums. It's hard to know how many people are REALLY on this site when they don't visit the site and you can't really "search" for users aside from "friend list surfing" from profile to profile.

Yeah this is true and thank you for the opinion. Perhaps utilize a little bar up top or maybe provide incentive to use the forums besides hearts.

Who knows when/if that's going to really happen. There's a lot of suggestions that's actually been suggested over the years, but the most recent change was some pictures/theme changes. The site has pretty much been the same for the past year. But it's still bringing people in somehow so he's getting it advertised.

Technically, it's hard to reply to someone's post directly, especially if it was posted a while ago. It's overwhelming to subscribe to a bunch of threads and keep track of all the conversations. I think I'd like to be able to use a hypothetical "quote" function, or have a reply thread that can branch off into multiple conversation fragments with a hide and view button if one sub-thread gets off topic. Mods would be useful too.
