I'm gonna go on the other side of this just for funsies, but for me personally, I tend to get wary of people who describe themselves as romantics. Especially if they describe themselves as hopelessly so. For almost everyone I know who've called themselves hopeless romantics they tend to really just love being in love with love and start running emotionally when the honeymoon phase is over and shit starts to get real. Not saying you do, sevengreen but just another point of view so to speak.

Brb, honeymoon phase with xueli now. #Notreallybutyeah

I want you to want me I need you to need me I'd love you to love me I'm begging you to beg me I want you to want me I need you to need me I'd love you to love me I'll shine up the old brown shoes Put on a brand new shirt I'll get home early from work If you say that you love me Didn't I, didn't I, didn't I see you crying? Oh, didn't I, didn't I, didn't I see you crying? Feeling all alone without a friend, you know you feel like dying Oh, didn't I, didn't I, didn't I see you crying? I want you to want me I need you to need me I'd love you to love me I'm begging you to beg me I'll shine up the old brown shoes Put on a brand-new shirt I'll get home early from work If you say that you love me Didn't I, didn't I, didn't I see you crying? Oh, didn't I, didn't I, didn't I see you crying? Feeling all alone without a friend, you know you feel like dying Oh, didn't I, didn't I, didn't I see you crying? Feelin' all alone without a friend, you know you feel like dying Oh, didn't I, didn't I, didn't I see you crying? I want you to want me I need you to need me I'd love you to love me I'm begging you to beg me I want you to want me I want you to want me I want you to want me I want you to want me Why? The first question to ask yourself is, what's love? Christian or not, I like this. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

I'm going to have to agree with Xueli, I think a lot of people like to describe themselves as romantics and such when most of the time they're just infatuated with the idea of being in love. In turn this can cause a lot of problems because we tend to overlook somebody's flaws and only view them for their good side. I'm not saying that's bad but in order to make things work out a bit better you need to be able to accept someone for their good and bad without just viewing them for their good otherwise you're romanticizing your own relationship. All in all I think it's a matter of being able to both be accepting as a whole while also being logical/practical about the relationship.
