Favorite Voice Actors?

Is there any voice actor you are so fond of that you will know it's them almost every time? I totally had a moment I was like "I'm being such an otaku now!" Cause I was watching One Piece and there is this new guy, Cavendish who is totally a pretty boy, looks like a sissy. All my dude friends say "He's so gay looking D:<" Anyway I was watching and listening to him speak and I went "OMG THAT SOUNDS LIKE AKIRA ISHIDA! He's like... the guy that does the voice for Xellos who is like... my all time favorite anime character!!!" So... I looked it up and it really was him and I totally freaked out. I was feeling very otaku from it lol. So, do any of you guys have those moments with a favorite voice actor?

Everyone is going to hate me for this, but my favorite voice actor is Jonny Young Bosch. XD Whatever anime he is in I know exactly who he is, he has such range. I loved him in Code Geass, "Nunnally!" But I guess I like him mostly because he was a Power Ranger. "Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger." One day they should do a power Ranger anime and if Jonny Young Bosch is not in it then I'm gonna be pissed.

I have several. My favorite male japanese VA is a tie between Akira Ishida and Tomokazu Seki (Xellos and Duo Maxwell...cannot go wrong there) Favorite female is hands down Romi Paku Favorite dub is Scott Mcneil, don't particularly have a favorite female va for dub.

Never went that deep but I love the voice actor of Fullmetal alchemist because he made a lot more main actor voices that I'm sure you have had those moments when you are watching anime and you say to yourself there is no way Japanese or any other language that I can watch this anime with a different voice ^+^ anyone else watch an anime in a certain voice that couldn't be replaced? Who is the actor? we want to know

@Kirokun When I first listened to the dubbed voice actor for Xellos, my heart cracked into two, dropped to the floor, and shattered into little pieces. (To be fair I was only 13! 13-year-olds tend to get their hearts broken often and easily.) It absolutely had to be Akira Ishida and only Akira Ishida when he played Xellos at least. I am curious who they'll cast to play the dubbed Cavendish. As for dubbed voice actors I could never think of a better person, Crispin Freeman as Touga Kiryuu pretty much matches Takehito Koyasu and I could not possibly see any other English voice actor as him.

@missallyesterday: You weren't the only one. Xellos's dub VA not only made me want to cry but...he was so out of character. it's amazing how much can change with intonation.

I'd voice my opinions on my favorite US voice actors but I've taken enough space already... By the way, I liked Akira Ishida in Persona 3.

Japanese: Yumiko Kobayashi, Megumi Hayashibara, Hiroshi Kamiya English: Lisa Ortiz, Jay Hickman, Laura Bailey, Vic Mignogna Makes me miss all of my ADV anime collection though... Actually among my Blu rays I still do keep Excel Saga in the middle of all of it.
