Otakon 2014

I plan on going and I've already reserved a room and its pretty close to the convention center. I just need people to room with if my friends aren't going.

I've got my room already :) I'm still unsure who I want to cosplay as... maybe someone from Fairy Tail (I was thinking Erza or Happy) or Rin from Ao no Exorcist.

That's true! I don't know if I'll be going to Otakon this year...I'm actually saving up to study abroad in Japan this summer (it's only a week). Which honestly, I'll take Japan over Otakon ANY DAY. lol My back up plan is Anime USA though Anyone been to that one in Washington, D.C.?

Probably so. Might cosplay but again most likely not something from whatever is gonna be the hyped up anime or trend of the year.... (last year was Attack On Titan and Deadpools, year before was Sword Art Online, year before that was I think Madoka, K-On, and Hetalia, then before that was Death Note... you get the idea). Honestly, I'll probably put a on skintone mask that cover up to the eyes, brown wig that covers the eyes, make a school uniform, and just go as every visual novel protagonist. If you've seen any picture of a main character in one you'll know what I'm talking about.

I'm going with a group, we have room for more if anyone is interested. We split cost so the room is cheaper (so long as you don't mind cramming with 3-4 others) and the hotel is literally across the street from the convention, perfect spot. I might be going as Archer from Fate/Stay Night, but I never cosplayed before so I need advice lol
