Liking the idea, not the person?

It's not creepy, so much as frustrating to me. Because it's one of those situations where it's like, I have no say, and they don't listen to anything reasonable. It's just them saying how "perfect" we would be when they know nothing... So... actually, yeah... that is really creepy....
