Tsunpaper @tsunpaper Been alright, just fairly busy these days. Mostly lots of work related stuff. Trying to finish up a big project while meeting new coworkers. Just a lot of things going on.

A question for those who care. Does anyone here still use original gameboys to play gameboy games? Not GBA per say, primarily stand gameboy and gameboy color is acceptable as well. Do you pick an original DMG or Pocket or Color and just play the games on them? No modded screens mind you, the original reflective LCDs. I promise there is a purpose to this.

While I personally do not. My girlfriend does. She primary does Wuthering Waves, and got back into Genshin more recently. For her it is really about the storytelling, fun gameplay, good character designs, and challenging content. For the longest time she was just primarily only doing Wuthering Waves but in recent updates she wasn't too happy about them and feels the game is more lacking, so instead she went back to Genshin Impact but decided to not really put any money back into it and just use what she had and enjoy the story content. She stopped playing Genshin due to the gameplay not being as fun after a while, whereas Wuthering Waves ended up having more fun gameplay for her. So to break it down, if she still enjoys playing the game, likes the new content, characters, story, combat, etc... then she will keep playing. So to answer your question, it simply is because she enjoys it, which is quite honestly the reason anyone plays any game (I hope) right? So if you like the experience of playing a game, then play it. If you stop enjoying it, stop playing it. Simple as that.
