Check out this one OVA series from the late 1980s / early 1990s: Angel Cop. It's a jingoistic, violent anime about a group of elite cops that fight terrorism in Japan. It has ridiculous gore and death scenes. When Manga UK dubbed it into English, there actually wanted it to get a higher rating, because they wanted it to appeal to adults, so the English dub script was filled with a ridiculous amount of cursing. Someone actually made a swearing compilation video:

Even though I've watched the first season, I have yet to actually purchase the series. With it was first released on DVD, there was a limited edition that included a second DVD of the same episodes but with a DTS audio track (the bonus features were removed to make room for the lossless audio). Other extrasa such as soundtrack CDs were also included.
Is it worth paying the extra cash for these editions, or should I just buy the box set?
