Hahaha, it probably does kinda sound cultist. I wish South Africans could be more patriotic at times though. The government here wanted to do something similar to the pledge of allegiance in schools but thought better of it. I don't know why the other kids couldn't get a separate service. They just wandered around the school grounds during service.

There were different cultures and different faiths at my school too. People of a different persuasion were allowed to walk out during the religious sections. Not very inclusive but that's what happened. The pledge sounds like quite a serious matter. It's probably done to foster patriotism and national pride.

Ok. Well, I going to bed. I have two appointments and volunteer work tomorrow. Plus, I have to use the public bus. So, good night. ^u^
