its cuz flcl was on adult swim. when it was aired, it was like anime dropped from the heavens. everybody bought the series. it was only 6 episodes but trust me it was worth it. people put alot time in this show. there thinking of putting it back on the air but its impossible plus its gonna cost alot of work and money. lolz. so yea aka short, its worth it. im more of old classic anime more. its how we were born

Oh totally! He does the best animated movies... Nausicaa was the first one I ever saw as a kid and my all time fave... I also love Totoro, The Cat Returns, Howl's Moving Castle, and Spirited Away. Great Stuff!

Sorry to hear that! I hope the Goodwill job comes your way. ^_^ I work at a factory, which is not so great, but it pays the bills and buys me cosplay stuff lol. Oh and I just watched the live action Blood The Last Vampire movie, and it was pretty awesome! I definitely recommend it if you are into asian cinema, especially when it's based on anime.

I've attended OryCon, BayCon, and Comic-Con. The first two are sci-fi conventions, but there's always an anime/cosplay crowd in just about any convention.

Thanks! And I can't wait to see your pic... I love kimonos, but I haven't found a good place to buy one from yet, plus they are usually always for shorter women, and I'm like 5'8". Plus I can't sew, so no way to make my own. ^_^
