Connecting to someone rather animal or human is very special I think regardless what disables us in life. I will have to try watching the movie although I imagine it will invoke tears. That scene is the most memorable to me since I first saw it as a child. I do remember liking Spirit, but I haven't seen seabiscuit, is it good? I might have avoided it because I know race horses get mistreated and it's heart breaking to see a broken horse when they are so free and full of spirit.
